TSU Homecoming 2012 : Mens Edition

Klassic Koncept

By D.GordonII

So men we all know the ladies will be out in full well planned attire this weekend. Its Homecoming weekend for Tennessee State University so what would you expect. They thought long and hard how to get your attention and now the question must be asked what have you done to grab their attention?
No you may not be looking for a women but it never hurts to know you stepped out in your best looking your best for this weekend. Not sure how to accomplish that, well fret not Klassic Koncept has you covered. We seek to take the average male and help him dress with swag and detail that turns everyone’s heads.
We start with basic koncepts or designs. Most events this weekend will not allow sneakers, tennis shoes or whatever you may call them, and if they do that’s not where you want to be. For this blog I’m dressing from the toes up. I’ll give you three different looks and tell you and show you how to pull them off flawlessly.

Our first look will be for you guys that will only wear jeans. Yes you still exist and we can still dress you. We will start off with a loafer or a boat shoe. Why because they don’t require socks and two because they will give you a dressed up look where a sneaker won’t do. You then need a pair of jeans dark or light rinse. Add that
with a t-shirt or button down and a vest as in the picture. A nice accessorized watch and this option also allows for a jacket if bold enough to do so.

The Second look is for the man who wants to dress to impress without quite going the suit route. Again we start with a pair of loafers or moccasins. Brown or black preferably however bold colors are in this season. Try coordinating socks with a shirt or tie; yes this look requires a tie. And women love a man who can coordinate. A pair of plaid or dark color trousers and a patterned shirt will do the trick. If you don’t have patterned shirts go with white. Add a splash of color in a tie or bowtie. Yes bowties are coming back add a blazer fit to size and you are bound to look your best.

The last look is for the man not afraid to wear a suit. Yes anyone can wear a black or blue suit but you want to stand out. Try a grey pinstripe or a brown. You can pair that with a number of colors and can broaden your shoes from loafers or moccasins to a wingtip. Wingtips come in a variety of colors these days and not standard black and white. Spice your suit up with argyle socks a nice bowtie or necktie along with an accented handkerchief and your compliments won’t stop for the evening.

All these styles were designed with clothes from Hip to Flip, Macy’s, Steinmart, Steve Madden shoe store and Cole Haans. They can all be accomplished for under $150 or less. Men step out proudly this weekend knowing you look you r best
