The Look of Casino Couture

So on this past Friday was the highly anticipated Casino Couture event that I have been talking about for a while and it was FAB and I had a blast! The night started w/hourdourves and cocktails while the sounds of swing jazz and Sinatra serenaded the crowd. Then the silent auction started with some items from local boutiques,autographed memorabilia from Titans player Chris Johnson,Lasik eye procedures, pictures,cookware you name it, it was there! And all proceeds went towards the Mary Parrish Center to help benefit women and children of domestic violence so it was a win win for all! There was also dancing and lots of blackjack and poker to feed that gambling spirit.
The theme for the night was a ode to Chanel and Audrey Hepburn and the women went all out with fashion! Looking across the room you could clearly see the inspiration of these fabulous women. There wear vintage clutches, pinned up hair, classic black heels,very ornate jewelry,red lips, and the long cigarette holders that made me feel like I was in a time machine...a very fierce time machine of course!
The night concluded with a live auction that included hand carved wooden pictures of Sinatra himself, a classic LBD that included shoes with it, as well as gift cards to Cheesecake Factory local salons and limousine services. I genuinely enjoyed the whole atmosphere and the spirit of charity in the air. This is proof that you can have the best of both worlds, by giving to a good cause and not sacrificing style meanwhile.
I would like to give a special thank you to the women of the Little Black Dress Club and to MEPR Agency for pulling off a fabulous night and making me feel like a Las Vegas 60's style diva!

With Casino Couture rapidly approaching,I chose my look of the day from the the Oh so Fabulous Ms. Berry. She sparkled at a Swarovski event in NYC in this Roberto Cavalli dress and Stella McCartney purse. I can only hope that when I'm 40 something that I can still turn heads like this! She is freaking flawless and if I could have just a hint of her genes,I would be in good shape.

Kim Kardashian Takes on London

Reality super star and business woman Kim K is taking on London to promote her reality shows across the pond.Fashion over there takes on a whole new meaning and you cant even think of half stepping over there. With some of the most recognizable designers originating from this far away land, homage has to be paid and your best foot is the only option. Kim took note and has presented herself with a strong Fierce front each and ever time she has been caught out. good work Kim,keep us smiling! Werk Diva!!! Haute!!!

My favorite celebrity couple in the world made the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest "Power Couple". This is huge news for them but I'm not surprised one bit. These two combined encompass the ultimate swag, style, and overall Fierceness! Not only do they stand alone as super stars but combined they bypass any and ever other couple on the planet! These two are always snapped by photog's jetsetting all over the world on some of the most luxurious vacation spots on the planet or, can be caught court side at one of Jay's teams basketball games. Either or,they always look super hot,shades indoors and all! I could only imagine the amount of scrutiny that they are constantly put under by people who don't know them from Adam. But not scrutiny here,I'm here to shine light on my favorite two people in Hip Hop and R&B! People have their own opinion on how these two should live there lives but clearly,they could care less,lay the hate to the side and get like them!! Stay Haute people and check out these flix!!

Solange The Funky One

Solange Knowles, little sister to super star Beyonce has definitely set herself apart from her sister not only in her music but, also in her sense of style. Solange has shown us that she is not to be viewed as a knock off to her uber popular sister but, that she has her own lane and is living her life just like she wants to. She hit up fashion week in the Big Apple this past week and made her presence known on the front row on several occasions. I wanted to touch on her bohemian chic,70's throwback, girl next door, I don't care what you think looks that she rocked this week. You may not be able to pull off these looks as effortlessly as she does but that doesn't make them any less FIERCE. Sister-girl knows exactly what works for her and capitalizes on her strenghts. I love the confidence that she displays each and every time we see her! And just in case you were wondering, her music is just as hot but in a different kinda way than big sis Bey!!!
