NAACP Image Awards

One of the more slept on awards shows of the season took place on Friday night. This is a night where lots of people of color who wouldn't otherwise get noticed get lots of shine. And shine they did! All age groups were on this red carpet from KiKi Palmer,who looked fresh in her yellow gown, to Cicely Tyson who after more than half a century in the game,still looks fierce! I can only hope that I can rock a pant suit like her when I'm her age! While some looked totally age appropriate like Gabrielle Union who played with a short sequence mini,some just aged themselves by 10 years or more like Rayven Simone. One who didn't dress for their body type were Eva Pigford who wore a huge champagne colored,chiffon dress with a huge train that TOTALLY drowned her.Disappointing because she is terribly beautiful and could pull off almost anything...but that! Hands down best dressed for the night was the STUNNING Keri Hilson who has done a total 180 since she first hit the scene! Can we say new stylist! She was also my best dress from the Grammy's as well,can we say two for two? WERK KERI!! Last night truly showed that black don't crack people,not at all !
