Carolina Herrera NY Fashion Week

Red was the color of the night for this A-list designer. She obviously pair homage to old holloywood glamour with bug brim hats and trouser pants and fur collars. Very fabulous materials and luxurious fabrics like water colors and florals. Pinned striped pants and plaid full length gowns were a change from the norm for this normally classical designer. A Mermaid style dress covered with tule and floral print with metallic hints was by far my favorite piece of the season. This designers pieces are going to stick out in my mind for a while as the unexpected punches was a certain hit!
