Fall Trend: The Cropped pant by Derek Lam

Fall is a time that we typically cover up more than we show. With this trend, this leaves a little more exposed, your ankles at least. When Derek Lam revealed their Fall collection earlier this year, one constant that was hard to miss was the cropped pant. It is one look that I am particularly fond of even though I'm petite and looks that chop us short girls up, are usually frowned upon. I'm willing to go against the grain on this one and just top this look with a nice 6 incher. Derek Lam has this look in a variety of materials from tweed, leather and wool. This look is paired best with a silk, button up blouse with layers and layers of necklaces and good, structured bag. Make sure that when duplicating this look, make sure the pants are wide, loose fit. That way, you can be comfortable and FAB! Yess!
