Giving IS Fierce Youth Clothing Drive

As a teenager I know that looking "cool" is one of the most important things to them. As a single parent, I know that can come with a big price tag. I have never considered myself a "baller" but, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for those who have less than me. I do realize I'm blessed. God blesses us to be a blessing to others.
During the May 2010 floods, I was out in the trenches getting dirty. For Thanksgiving, I go to the Mission to pass out plates to the homeless. Its not a burden to me at all. The decision to do this clothing drive for kids was very natural for me! I only hope I can ease the stress and pressure off some parents by providing some necessities to their children. SUPPORT!!!

I had the pleasure of attending a very cool trunk show put on by the good people at Bullets and Mullets. It was an earring collection from a local talented designer, Kyndra Donelson. Her taste is very bright,trendy and attention grabbing! She pays homage to the hometown by having an earring for all local colleges and everything you need to rep Nashville! "Style is Heard" is her motto and, you can literally wear cassette tapes on your ears if you feel the same way! I particularly loved the color blocked style earrings that can take your wardrobe to the next level! Shoe of the Day

This is a shoe that I seen in Nashville's new Nordstorm and have had on the brain since then! Its by designer Jeffery Campbell whom seems to be carving out a piece of my heart as of late. Lots of his designs seem to bring big smiles lately. This particular conversation piece sits at 6 inches with a 2 inch platform. It is perfect for Fall with this Mustard color making the dullest outfit pop! Good with anything from out on the town mini skirts,skinny jeans for drinks with the crew or, a pencil skirt and cashmere cardigan,it has lots of universal ways to WERK for you. Stay Fierce dolls!

I'm in the market for a new coat this year and I am honestly overwhelmed on which style I will settle on. Most likely more than one..who am I kidding,two! Anyhow,as I checked out some of my sure fire favorite sites,I came across an eye catcher. This sequins moto jacket from Express. They are always good for the glitz in some form or fashion. This jacket is going for 128.00 and isn't a bad buy when you consider how trendy it is and the attention that you will get!

My Style Crush: June Ambrose

If you want to see me gush,just mention my idol in the fashion game, June Ambrose. She is a groundbreaking celebrity stylist. She is instrumental in changing the way we dress ourselves and the stretches us to the farthest edges of fashion. How may you ask? That trash bag Missy wore in her debut video. That's her. The shiny suits Puffy and Mase worn in More money more problems. Her too. Oh yeah and when Jay-Z told all men to "change clothes" and button ups where on every male in America? Yep,that's her too. She has managed a successful firm, Mod Squad and has managed to garner a Fierce following. I personally follower her Twitter, and if its anybody's twit pics I peep,its hers. She has a signature look of a bold red lip,a turban on her head and a Berkin on her arm. She literally has every color! She knows what works for her and is so freakin fearless that you cant help but to love her! I do obviously. As I'm in the mall on a true mission to be on time to my next destination, outside of the mall,one thing stopped me in my tracks...shoes of course! This multi-patterned bootie gave me life yesterday! With a mix of about every animal in Africa,this has endless possibilities! This shoe is a statement piece all by itself so all black everything,or white,will really make this shoe pop. A beige pencil skirt with a luxurious black cardigan will have heads spinning. This is definitely on my "to get" list for sure!

Birthday Fly

So yesterday I celebrated my 25th birthday (again,ha) with some friends,sushi and drinks. Great time! I love that my big day falls in my favorite fashion season cause it gives me a reason to be creative that day. As I pondered my look,one thing was for sure, I was wearing shorts! I know, I know,summer is behind us but don't let that stop you! Express, as well as other affordable retailers offer shorts in winter materials like wool,leather and velvet. Its all in how you pair it. I went for a camel colored blazer that had this amazing lace back, (not pictured) with the plaid shorts and patterned tights. I had on nude pumps and these AMAZING chandelier earrings from Express as well. The night was warm and I was perfectly comfortable! Now that's how you stay Fierce girls!

Never one to disappoint, even in death Alexander McQueen still manages to wow us beyond belief. With bold, look at me looks to unexpected usages of materials,this collection lacked nothing! Lots of lace and feathers with metal embellishments mark this Spring Collection that took place last night. I am rarely at a loss for words but ,McQueen manages to take me there all the time!
