L.A.M.B S/S NYFW

This collection was b-a-n-a-n-a-s, get it? lol Anyhow, one of the chickest pop stars pumped out another glamorous collection for Spring. Lots of color to go around in the way of bold color blocking, tribal prints and geometrical looks. She has a mixture of everything from long, flowy, maxi dresses to barley there shorts and jumpers in various cuts and fabrics. She always keeps her looks fresh and unexpected and love Gwen for it. She is a risk taker in this fashion game which is always a good thing. I can see celebrities like Rihanna and Rachel Bilson rocking these looks any day now. Clap for her!

Rachel Roy S/S 2012 NYFW

Asian inspired was clearly the inspiration for Rachel for Spring. She had injections of lots of kimono looks as well as gentle florals that look like she just came from a vacation in China prior to starting this line...in a good way though! She has been consistent with mixing menswear along with femininity for years. I love the piping that she uses om her dresses and the luxurious fabrics she uses for tough menswear looks. I had high hopes for her and she didn't let me down! Two thumbs up Rachel Roy! Fierce!

Prabal Gurung S/S 2012 NYFW

Bold color blocking, strong silhouettes and sexy legs round out this heavy hitters collection for Spring. If you werent awake before you got there, the clothes sure got your attention. The line had a mix of floral prints, ombre skirts, feathers and lots, I mean lots of purple! Lots of drop dead gorgeous, sexy red carpet gowns as well as sexy after 5 looks too. A very nice, eclectic mix of various looks that will keeps this designer on the tip of all our tongues for a while!

BCBG Max Azria S/S 2012 NYFW

One word for this collection...citrus! This line is full of bright citrus colors like yellows, oranges and limes in tribal prints. Another constant in this Spring collection is deep, seductive v-necks. This isn't for the busty woman who needs extra support like me! But I still loved it none the less which was no surprise. Take a look at my favorites!

Jason Wu S/S 2012 NYFW

One of my favorite designers Jason Wu had his epic show in New York along with all the other greats. I particularly love this guy because his come up story is one to be inspired by. But this Spring line....whoa!! He started the line off with black and white looks in high waist shorts and cropped pants. From then, the line emerged to show injections of color in the form of A-line linen dresses and jackets. Then he really began to catch my eye with symmetrical skirts, super deep v neck tops, peplum skirts, florals, I mean it was beautiful! And just when I thought my fashion spirit was filled,he blows my mind with this GORG electric blue,A line, belted dress that was breathtaking! He finished it off with very full, ruffled skirts in pink, yellow and black. All in all, this was a very well made, ladylike and wearable collection that I cant wait to see on the red carpets. Here is a peek...

Fierce Jackets for Fall

With Fall rapidly approaching, its that time of the year for a slight outer layer to keep the wind off. This is personally my FAVORITE time of year, partly cause of my birthday, but mainly for the FASHION! Its the time of year where its not too hot or cold and transition looks are the best to me. With that being said, Fall does not need to be lumped into Winter and we should observe this season with the appropriate outerwear. Its not yet time for full on fur, or floor length trenches. I have listed some very do-able Fall jackets that will have you comfortable on those crisps nights but still fierce which is very important! These jackets all come from very accessible brands like Bebe,J Crew, Arden B and Anthropologie. They are also budget friendly ranging from $69.00-248.00!

Shoe of the Day

Y'all know the routine...I scourer the web looking for shoes that make my heart skip a beat and then I gush about them here. Today is no different and today's heart stopper comes courtesy of the genius that is Alexander McQueen. This beauty is called the Strass, and sits about 5 inches up, but puts me one step from heaven! I mean check out the eye catching bling! And that heel,Whoa! I venture to say that I would be a little skittish on this type of curvy heel, but Java Fierce will try anything once. These babies are gonna set you back 1645.00 big ones. Who cares if you don't pay rent, starve yourself and have to catch the bus, unless your feet will look good right? GORG!
