Look of the Day Beyonce...obviously

Being that I am a Beyonce stan, its to no surprise that she is my look of the day. Unless you live under a rock, you know that she let the cat out of the bag and revealed that she is indeed with child!!! I love love love the way she chose to let us know by ending her performance opening up her purple sequins jacket and rubbing that growing belly. And proud papa Jay-Z rejoiced with fellow music great Kanye. It was classic and I will never forget it. But before that, she hit the red carpet in a floor length, flowy red gown by Lanvin. She took this time to cuff her stomach to let everyone know the secret ahead of the performance. I loved the jewelery selection to the huge cuff bracelet and the diamond drop earrings. She simply glowed the whole night and when she performed Love on Top,you can tell she meant every word! Love!

Audrina Patridge for Bongo

Looking to spice up their collection,Bongo recruited the hot reality star Audrina from The Hills for their Fall campaign. I have always viewed this line as not bad,but just something I wouldn't wear. Well that has all changed now! They have totally wearable looks that will for sure boost their stock way up. I was pleasantly surprised by the leopard one shoulder looks and cute distressed skinny denim. They have looks that I can see my teenager in as well as myself. The line can be purchased at Sears and Kmart. Budget friendly fierce pieces all around! The sequins shorts is my favorite piece! Check it out and let me know what's yours!

Impulse by Karl Lagerfield for Macy's

The fashion Icon whom has designed looks for fashion house Chanel has ventured into a land that I couldn't be more happy about! Chanel, which I have loved forever, has always been outside of my budget,so I have admired from a far. Now since Karl Lagerfield has a limited edition line at Macy's,I feel like I can finally get me a piece of history! Karl Lagerfield states that "Macy's has always been a place where a woman can shop without wrecking her budget". To that, I say yes Sir! This 45 piece collection will be released on Aug. 31st in select stores. The collection includes a plethora of looks from ombre t-shirts,leather jackets, Lbd's, tweed skirts and dresses and everything in between to totally take your wardrobe to the next level! The line bleeds sophistication, class and essential staples all women need. I am on pins and needles, giddy with excitement for this line! I'm glad high end designers are making their looks more accessible to the everyday woman. This line ranges from $50-$170.00.Not bad at all! I'm thinking about camping out on Aug.30th,who's with me??

Jennifer Lopez for Khols

Making the leap that many great designers do by offering affordable lines in department stores,Jennie from the Block joins the ranks. This time, she is bringing her fabulous designs to Khols. She has a very uber cute line that has lots of pieces that I cant wait to get my hands on! She had a a fierce gold, three quarter length blouse that gives me life! I see myself rocking it with a pair of skinny jeans or a pencil skirt with a knee boot. Speaking of,she has a pair of suede over the knee boots in black and in a light tan color that should be a staple throughout Fall. That trend is still going strong. She finishes off her line with touches of fur, cable knit sweaters, bell sleeve tops all in sexy colors and luxurious textures. The line officially drops in September but here is a look at some of my favorite pieces!

Kids Choice Awards Fashion Winners

Last night was a big night for kids as they got to see their favorite child stars receive high recognition for there achievements. Yeah yeah that's cute, but my main focus was who wore what and did they flop or fly! I follow Kim K on Twitter, so I knew that she would be in Givenchy so I expected something edgy and unique. I must say I wasn't wow'd by her look. Its not a top 10 Kim Kardashian look for me,but hey she still looked hot. Nashville's own Taylor Swift looked stunning in an white, A-Line mini dress by Rafael Cennamo. I love that she finally pulled that hair back! Fergie rocked a star studded yellow and black, hip hugging mini by Dolce and Gabbana. The biggest surprise came for me in the all grown up Joe Jonas. He was super dapper in a slate grey almost clay colored suit with a grey v-neck t-shirt underneath, sleeves pushed up. FAB! I never have looked at him in that way but he mos def werked it! Take a look at the other fashion winners of the night!

Happy Birthday Lucy!

Today would have the 100th birthday of the Iconic Lucille Ball. Hard to believe that she has been gone since 1989 with the constant reminders of her all these years later. Well clearly she did something right because everyone from Google to the NY Times is paying tribute. She was a stunning, classic beauty who shot to super stardom with the monster of a show, I Love Lucy that ran from Oct.1951-1957. She made a bold red lip and a fiery red pin-up hairdo her staple and what she is most known for. A classic A-Line skirt with a cinched in waist was her day to day look on the show. She made it look easy to be comical and fierce at the same time. Often duplicated by millions but never another Lucille Ball...Enjoy the pics!

Look of the Day

With Summer quickly leaving us and Fall fastly approaching, today's look is something that we can look forward to. Today's look of the day comes from Carolina Herrera's Fall 2011 collection. This particular dressed grabbed my attention in all the right ways! I had the flattering draping in a luxurious silk. The skinny black belt brings everything together and adds that hint of sophistication. The wow factor for this dress is clearly the asymmetrical right shoulder with the lace detailing. Its not too much, just enough and works for lots of age demographics. FIERCE!
