Florals and Denims

With Spring rapidly approaching my new favorite for the season is starting to become my new obsession. Florals by themselves or paired with denim. When wearing florals, its important that you have a size print that best fits your body type. If your a full figured woman don't go with a big print, smaller is best because it distract from the curvy parts. Now whats really fun and trendy for me is to pair a knee or floor lenght dress with a denim vest left undone. Also since its not all the way warm yet,a denim jacket is a haute look as well.Roll up the sleeves for a modern feel. These two trends dominated Spring runways and is a sure fire way to at least look like you know whats up! The fab thing about this trend is that it can really transcend all body types and ages. Your mini-me or your mama can pull this off! I would recommend the longer maxi length dress for more mature woman but of coarse if you feel comfortable and don't feel inappropriate,by all means, push the envelope mah!

Lip Gloss Stains

So recently I was at an awards show and while freshening up my makeup I got lip gloss on my sating dress! Disastrous I know! Well I thought that I would scrub for dear life once back at the hotel room but to no avail did the stain come out. Now near having a conniption, I took to the all knowing Internet to see how to get this stain out of this FAB dress that I had only worn once. To my surprise this was a common issue that many people are faced with which is why its my topic today. Now unanimously, everyone said to used dish washing liquid and the stain would come out. Makes perfect sense since it is a de-greaser and that's what the stain essentially is right, grease? Well I layered paper towels under the stain, dampened it a bit,put the dish washing liquid on it and scrubbed for dear life on both sides of the garment. Then I hand washed it in cold water so that the spot wouldn't stand out. I let it line dry and the next morning,IT WAS GONE!! Now I may be a little more enthusiastic about than most but I had all but written off this dress that I thought was gonna take me through the summer. I think this is helpful info that should be shared because without knowing this, its assumed that your garment is ruined. You can thank me later! Chaio!!

Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week

So the coveted Louis Vuitton show was yesterday which was designed by my favorite designer,Marc Jacobs. The fall line up for this famous designer was filled with A-Line skirts that came past the knee at a tea length. Very ladylike, structured and delicate. Pleated skirts in leather and wool alike were everywhere. Floral and plaids were some of the patterns that were paired with cashmere sweaters with fur collars was a cool look. My favorite dress was a huge chiffon red carpet ready gown that was in this beautiful light champagne color with a "to die for" broach at the waist on the side. FREAKIN FAB! If I had somewhere to go,that dress would be all mine!! Also, almost all models wore long leather gloves in muted, natural tones..trend alert!...And the purses, dont even get me started!!Check out my favorites!

Lauren Conrad for Kohls

LC as I like to call her is yet another reality star celebrity who has made the leap into fashion. Kim K and the fam's line is a more sexy, club attire type where as, LC's line more so mirrors the comforts of fashion. It really mimics the easy breezy styles that we seen her rock on the The Hills and I must say I'm impressed. Following right along with the up and coming spring trends, she has lots of chiffon, florals and ruffles. The styles are really easy to wear and don't require much more than a belt and some accessories to complete the looks. If all that isn't enough, the line doesn't carry anything over 50.00 so it is very recession proof so the most frugal fashionista can look hot and chic for the spring! I have included some of my favorite pieces from her collection. Feel free to leave comments on if you think its hot or not....I'm open!

Emilio Pucci Milan Fashion Week

Emilio Pucci: Milan Fashion Week Womenswear A/W 2010

This season the designer played with lots of deep hues like rich purple, greens and blues. Fur wasnt absent from this collection much like every other designer thus far! The dress above is by far my favorite from the line. The trendy one shoulder and the metallic gold is simply electric. I could soo see myself in this one! Feather trimming, mesh v-necklines,metallics,sparkles and luxurious scarves were a standout look. This is a classic line that is famous for its signature pieces and noticable play with patterns. They again didnt disappoint. Fierce,Fabulous and,Freakin Gorg!
